• Opener runs but won’t close the door. This is the classic failing relay symptom. A seized relay on the board keeps the motor powered in one direction but won’t reverse. We replace the board rather than re-soldering a relay; it’s not economical to do board-level work on a part that costs less than an hour of labor.
• Remote and wall button both dead, but the opener still has power. If the outlet tests live and the board shows no indicator light, the board’s power regulation circuit has failed.
